He wasn't trying to kill anyone in particular, just a black person. He came to college and was picked on a lot and had nobody, and some skinheads took advantage of him and his sanity and turned him into a racist. He tried to kill a black person so that the skinheads would still keep him and not turn him away because he didn't have anyone in his life that loved him.
