Cigarette Lit - Dave Matthews

This video has the music and lyrics to the unreleased Some Devil track, "Cigarette Lit". It's really a great song and I think the lyrics are outstanding.

The song was cut because Dave did not feel that it fit with the album: "With Some Devil, there was one song we axed called 'Cigarette Lit,' which despite being a great song didn't end up on the album because it was slightly oversized; it's chest was a little too full compared to everything else. When we rejected it, I asked myself, 'Am I being a moron?' Now, I'm happy with that decision. Sometimes you have to let things be what they are."

This has got to be my absolute favorite solo Dave song. The lyrics are so touching and speak to me deeply. Amazing- simply amazing. This is Dave Matthews at his best. Does anyone know where you can get a recording of this song?

i can honestly say this whole album forever changed my perspective on music all together. ive never felt such emotion from anywhere else. it changed my life. i was always somewhat of a dmb fan, but this isnt dmb. this is dave. i have/had never actually cried to a song until i listened to stay or leave. buy this album. seriously. best decision of your life.
