I remember watching this when I was younger. This is the time that I grew up in and I had long hair and was your textbook hood. This movie was serious back then. It represented every aspect of the hood life. Jocks hated us. However, when I was growing up, we were in a gang of sorts. There was never less than 20 of us in a crowd at a time. No one really fucked with us, except the blacks would every so often. Even they left us alone after they saw we were all for one, one for all.
