if a pair of oscars live in a 30 us gallon/120 litre tank , they will both grow 8-10inches

thats with weekly 1/4 water change, and you will have to take decorations out while they grow.

some people say its inhumane,if the fish are healthy looking/acting then your doing nothing inhumane

these fish get better diets and care then 1/6 of the human world population

hek,jab the fish with growth hormones and get underground oscar fighting matches going

im not here to bag on anyone or troll but I am here to ask how the fish are doing now I see comments from a year back so how are the fish..? If the fish are good Id have to say 55 gallon is plenty of room. PPL are always gonna bitch and those out there that have the money to throw away will be housing there single Oscars in 100gallon or more like dumbass's and monitoring their ph every morning after that first cup of coffee

@slereosh my fish were a little crowded in my tank wich is 55 gal i have 10 chiclids at 6" 2 baby cat fish and 3 oscars that will get around 15" the water was getting dirty realy fast so i added a second filter system one is a fluval 305 and the other i added is a fluval u2 everything in my tank is fine again

@slereosh if anyone needs proof of this i had a convict and pleco in 10g for a year with only topping off water and changing the filter like 3 times with no problems and yes they are still alive and in a 20 gallon now lol

People need to realize, screw ph levels, water temps, nitrates, ammonia, ect. Go back to basics. These fish are from the amazon and lakes in africa. These fish are very hardy, they're not some lab expirament. Sure the bio load will become bigger when the fish get bigger in a 55, but its not that big a deal. These "experts" need to stop trolling on everyones videos and just enjoy the god damn fish.
