I like this sound, and also the slower tempo is OK with me. I can hear the notes more clearly.

Hearing this is great but in person, the experience is almost overwhelming. There is NOTHING like a live performance.

I think that the version of Odile Pierre is better. This is too slow!!

Widor himself played most of his works far slower than is now popular... uses the acoustics of the building better. We are fortunate that he was recorded on a number of occasions.

A tad slow but still very nice! Gorgeous organ as well, I've played it and there are so many stops... it's overwhelming !
