It doesn't matter whether they call it negro, black or african american. Who cares? We as a people get to hung up on what we are called; I am a child of the Most High God! It's not what you are called; it's what you answer to!

@MissSkylar87 at a time when the were refered to as Negro but around the civil rights movement Black people didnt want the title and wanted to be called black.so respect that

For those of us who lived when this was actually the NEGRO NATIONAL ANTHEM... the word was NEGRO not Black.. we started being referred to as BLACK in the 70's but oddly enough before that we were COLORED in the south.... but in the national census records from 1870 til 1920 we were BLACK then in 1930 we were NEGRO... just a history lesson...
