@bamboosa No worries. I agree that there are other female performers that would've fit in better with the Crossroads line-up. But in Sheryl's defense, her music is A LOT better now that she's backed by The Thieves (Doyle Bramhall II, Justin Stanley, Ephraim Owens, et al). Sheryl's manager Scooter, who is also DBII's manager, helps Clapton put the festival together. He might even be a financial backer... so I'm sure that played into it.

Ellen Mcllwaine - type this in the YouTube search field and discover an amazing person, active as long as Eric, who should be at Crossraods and is not. She plays guitar, sings and writes like no one else. Proof that amazing talent is out there unknown by the general public.

Why this little talent, 2nd rate 'singer/songwriter' got invited to this event I'll never know. Bonnie Raitt should have been here instead. And she's the ONLY female ever to have a Signature Edition Stratocaster, can play guitar bottleneck guitar with the best and has real musical talent spanning decades. While Sheryl strums and has an one octave range.
