Not much time for gigging these days, but we still get it done now and then. The Recliners cover just about anybody we like. And we love King's X. I still have very fond and vivid memories of the first time I saw them live. It was in Memphis. 1990. A medium sized club. I had heard some of the Faith, Hope, Love record on the radio the day before and went to check them out. Completely blew me away. Still do to this day. Live in London rocks!! Naturally, our cover doesn't really do them justice. Doug, Jerry, and Ty, we're just throwing some love your way every time we play, baby.

  • awesome live recording man. this the new board?

    ~Andy

  • @BroskiAdams - yeah. just plugged in. board mix. boom. what you see is what you get. easy as pie. could probably sound better if i was a highly trained a qualified engineer such as yourself, though. but not bad for a lay-it-down live thing done by lame hacks like us.

  • 300Pro what a God that thing is.

It makes the sound of the song sound strong.

    Nice amp.

Im getting one 1 day !

  • @pece33 - yeah, i've been through quite a few amps in my day, and I just can't say enough good stuff about this one. I've only had it for 6 months, but I'm still in the honeymoon stage. the cabinet is an equally impressive partner for it, too. Traynor tc810. Perfect match in my opinion. I tried a lot of them out before settling on that one.

  • What a wonderful and soulful cover! Ty Doug and Jerry still reign supreme... but this is the best cover of their material I've ever heard! The slight differences in phrasing really create a unique version. It's a bit more southern...

  • My band is covering this one too. You guys did a great job!

  • Awesome job fellas!!!!

  • I almost didnt click on this... im glad i did,, very very nice job !!

  • amazing work!!

  • I am a huge King's X Fan and you guys did an awesome job! You should be proud! I am sure the guys appreciate the love!

  • Wow. You guys really did this song justice, which is hard to do if you're not King's X. Awesome.

  • ....a VERY noble performance of Goldilox! Vocally....excellent. The geetarr player could maybe listen to the original a time or two and improvise the lead break and outro to the last chorus. It would be smoother... : ) But seriously, you guys are really good and this cover is superb!

  • MAJOR props for doing this - no doubt Ty and Doug would love the Hendrix vibe too
