I went to the Colonial Theater as a kid growing up in Phoenixville, PA ... LOVED it then and so happy it's still around now! The Blob was Steve McQueen's first film - put together at the Yeager's studio down in Chester Springs. Many of the places in the film are still in Phoenixville today, but I'm sorry to report that the diner (the Vale Rio Diner I grew up with, too) was dismantled and is in pieces behind or near the Acme off Rt. 23 just as you head east out of town. So sad but great memories!

@eerietube It was blast. Horror Host Mr. Lobo was hosting the evening Double-Feature, along with Ghoul A Go-Go, and they put on a great show.
