This is a famous argentinian tango, titled (Adios Muchachos)
the lirics in spanish are very sad, it's about a person that has
a limited time to live, and is giving his farewell to all his friends;
personally, i like the meaning of the lirics in english better,

Tony Martin is still living. Can you believe it? Yes, he was born in 1913 and is currently 96 years of age. I love his duet of the Jerome Kern song, "Why do I love You" with Frances Langford back in the '40's. He and Cyd Charisse were married for 60 years until her death in 2008.

my how the times have changed, I can recall when this record was considered to subjective for radio. well listen to whats on now. this was one of my alltime favorites
along with kiss of fire.

Tony Martin is a very , very special talent.

He did record "Kiss of Fire" I belive he had the second most popular recording of this song with Georgia Gibbs version being the most popular, but I'm not 100% sure.

I was there too! Great show. He is one of the best of all time. Trying to see if he is returning to Feinstein's this year. Haven't heard anything about him since Cyd's passing.
