@denkste144 Oh, that's too bad. I stopped practicing it for a while too.
As far as real games go it is getting more and more limited in application. I pretty much only practice it with about 3/4 of a deck or less now. It's a good move for Omaha but for hold 'em you kind of need to do it with a full deck.
Pretty frustrating move... Everytime I try to correct something with it I end up messing something else up.

Nice bottom deal man , its funny cos I actually use the same grip as you I actually find your bottom deal really alike mine and I also have the same problem with the mechanics grip ! Keep it up man !

Looks good for me. The way I learned bottom is I'm adding this neck tie movement, so its not too expose mostly when you have a player on your left. And I'm also trying to sail all cards in a consistent pattern mostly when I'm getting the card at the bottom.
-
looks ok. as a practice tip is good to sail all the cards, including the bottoms.

Damm i wouldn't want to play poker against you! :P
-
is this a strike or do you use some kind of buckling action? either way it's really good, keep it up!

oooo that's nice.
what was the source?
Hi Joey,
The deal looks good. A tip that really helped me with my finger flash is to hold the fingers lower on the deck, as if you were holding half a deck.
Sometimes I will curl the third finger so that the tip of it is pressing against the bottom card, almost like for a push out deal (I use a strike though). This greatly reduces it, but the grip looks a bit more awkward.
I'm sure you already know of this one, but you can also try holding the fingers flatter.
Good luck!

It looks good; I am also working on my bottoms =)
But the way I do it is to turn my wrist down when you deal the cards, so that people cannot see you deal the card from the bottom.
In "Fast Company", the person said that it is better to turn your wrist down so that the card is above the deck when it takes out from bottom.
Oh well, Idk --- thsi is what I learn about bottom and so just share with you =)

@kingarthurlove Hey man thanks alot for sharing your experience :)
when I practised dealing bottoms to different "seats" (like to the third player), I kept doing this wrist turn and so it looked really obvious because you could tell that I just dealt a bottom because of the wrist turn ( hope that just made sense :D )
so I guess thats why I stopped doing it
but its definitely something I could start to experiement again, so thanks alot for mentioning :)

I think the deal looks great, my only critique is that you place the deck into position for the deal, if your using this for magic and your pattering try squaring the deck on the table with one hand when you pick it up, in that action its very easy to get into the right position for the deal. The erdnase grip looks very natural in your hands but anyone whos doing it feels it looks strange in their own hands even though it doesnt.
