I just got both the HD2500 and the X500 this summer...You got any good tips on using them? I'm about to have a house party with friends and I have a great playlist but it's very hard to transition between 2 songs of completely different BPMs without the break or filter effects...

I just bought one of these last November, so I'm really still getting the hang of it.
I'm a wedding DJ, and I do think most of the features on this deck are geared toward club use or performance DJs.
I bought this unit to get into using MP3 and get away from lugging cases of CDs around. The built in HD isn't huge, but it should be big enough to hold what I need to do a wedding with. anything else I can plug in an extra HD.
Thanks for making the vid.

Do you use your 2500 as a midi controller

your not dumb just have to know a little bit about computers. right click on the harddrive icon on the computer and click format. MAKE SURE you back up the harddrive formating it will erase everything on it

I hope noone would use this for anything but a club! I heard some mobile DJ's us it for Anniversaries and weddings OUI! WAY too much work than a SW based MP3 DJ Software PRogram with a real user interface!

It is great for every event I do. I use pioneer CDJs for most of my gigs now
