  • What shit! He talks as if you have hundreds of choices of lathe speed and applies (incorrectly) half the formula for speeds and feeds in metal turning! My lathe has 3 speeds via a 3 step pulley of 250, 950 and 2000, so it doesn't matter what sum you get you can't change these speeds! These are common to most lathes. He doesn't consider the material which is what speeds and feeds is all about. The optimum speed for material being cut. Big=slow, general=medium, finish=fast It's woodturning!

  • I have a question....what unit is the final number in? Surface inches per minute???

  • treat yourself to a new pen,big boy.

  • Thanks for all your video's, I learned to turn from these!!!!
