I was there as a judge and I still don't know the whole truth about why the fight didn't happen.

Even having been there, I am not sure of what happened. The promoter made no mention of the bout, despite the presence of both fighters, and the fact that they were listed as the first fight. It certainly looked to me like Novell was ready to fight, though. Just before the final bout, Mo walked out of the venue leaving a visibly frustrated Novell surrounded by armed police officers. I really hope the promoter will post an official reason for the lack of a match.
