The Ulduar patch made the game significantly easier, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that it ruined the game as a whole. In my opinion, the game isn't ruined, but it needs an lore-packed expansion to bring it back from the brink that Cataclysm brought it to. While MoP is a decent expansion, nothing has rivaled the rich lore that WoTLK had.

Best expansion, the only 2 things not to like about it were boring tundra and "There must always be a Lich King!"
