Here's an often slagged tune by Rush that I just happen to like. Probably the peak of their 'electronic' period, but Neil just jams on this one. Power Windows is just about the peak of Rush in my opinion too. Great tunes. AMAZING sound and really top-notch independence from all three players. Long live the '80s!

Great job! Looks great...just wish you were higher than Neil in the video mix. I couldn't hear your drums very well until the track faded out on the outro.
Always loved the drums on "The Big Money", and the instrumental bridge is my absolute favourite part of the tune.

I agree on Power Windows, for me that was the last good Rush album. There are a few good songs after that (Driven for one), but no entire albums I enjoy listening to. I don't mind the heavy electronic stuff, it's diverse enough to still be interesting.

Nice job. You fell apart at 3:26 but recovered well. Also the high-hat work in the beginning you played backwards, meaning you played it leading with your right hand, Neil uses his left hand on that.

I didn't fall apart at 3:26, I just kept the beat because I don't have the sounds to imitate what Neil is triggering during that song.
As for the beginning, I think as long as the notes are correct, it doesn't really matter which hand you lead with. I actually think that Neil leads with his left when coming off the right handed fill and with his right when coming off the left handed fill. Remember, my cowbells are in a different place too, so I had to do something weird.

Not for this song. Many of the other (Rush) songs that I've done have required some rigorous notational work to figure out some of the more intricate parts. Mainly it's just keeping the different parts straight and in the right order the presents one with a challenge.
