former president Dwight D. Eisenhower's farewell address to the American people about the "MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX", the combination "...of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry", and it's grave implications. "The potential for the disasterous rise of misplaced power exists, AND WILL PERSIST."

  • hey thanks a lot

  • Hey leitermann. Thanks for uploading my video. Don't know how you found it ... but it's here and getting good feedback. I'll remix and repost with a lower score volume. BTW - the musical score is really good ... from Philip Glass' "Fog Of War". Another politically mind bending movie.

  • haha yeah sorry for not asking first, but i didn't know how to contact you, and it's very well put together so i wanted it on youtube for my playlist.

  • @ReeferTim Agreed. Nothing has changed in 2,000 years.

  • @NJRocks281 It's crazy how ignorant and uneducated haters are. When you throw your blanket insults at all liberals who you say are FAGS doesn't that seem a bit odd even to your teeny weenie brain ? How could we ever propagate ? Be assured many of us are hetro-sexual and not seethed in hated.IKE was a great president and a seasoned warrior who was tired of seeing the elite profit from death and toil.So he told the truth and warned us in style.I was born when IKE was president and Love America

  • @SupraSovereign JFK was MURDERED because he wanted to Kill The FEDERAL RESERVE banking system and go back to a GOLD standard and an HONEST STANDARD that isn't ON PAPER.

The elite powers IN THE DAY had the same overreaching tendrils that seemed to infiltrate all branches of the Federal Government.

Nixon took a flight that fateful morning from Dallas to NYC and when he was informed he didn't act shocked enough and retreated immediately.

Tricky Dicky was culpable and the citizens GULLIBLE

  • Do you really think that JFK was assassinated by the military industrial establishment?

  • 50 years ago: same shit! america is not happy without wars and don't tell me those wars are to make us free!

  • i can't even hear the President through your stupid background score asshole...

    you wannabe filmmaker prick.

  • There is music because this clip was lifted off a shitty documentary called why we fight you fucking ignoramuses.

  • cool - thanks!

  • Kennedy to issued a warning in 63, search for 'the speech that got kennedy killed' then search for ' kennedy bodygaurd stood down'

  • Seriously, EisenHower warned us about this a long time ago, and look at us now.

  • why are you fags so obsessed wit hthe music..jesus christ. Its not even that bad

  • I agree it adds more drama.

  • nah man the music is funky.

  • haha, nobody likes the music apparently. I didn't make the video, just reposted it from googlevideo, but I actually kinda liked the music. Oh well, I suppose the video response of the entire thing should be better recieved than this one, then.

  • I have uploaded the entire speech for all to hear. Click on my name.

  • fourth that, WTF?

  • the fuck is with the music.

  • third that!

  • I second that, damn music has got to go.

  • I think you just did.

You're comments would be worth discussion if you didn't just repeat trendy catchphrases you've heard.

  • I am not even going to honor that with a response. You are obviously not a person worth talking to.

    Schmuck.

  • Oh, wow! That is such an original thought. Did you come up with that on your own, Canuck?

  • This is incredibly sad. History repeats itself: ancient Athens, Rome, The British Empire and now the Amercian Empire. Militarism spells death for democracy.

  • it's a great speech, but what's with the bloody background music? let's hear the speech, for god's sake!
