The battle for identity continues in Abyei.

Hundreds of Dinka have returned after fleeing the war 20 years ago, and they are leading the push for an African identity in the region, as opposed to an Arab one.

why do the dinka and some of the arab look the same.

both groups are black. one is kushitic and the other is niolitc. the truth is southern sudanese are really black probably the darkest people on earth i mean u can tell them from afro-american or any non-nilotic african. different africans tend to have distinct looks. northern sudanese are not mixed with arabic they are black africans similar to afro-latino black as night saying they are hispanic and not black.
