Clock Tower 3 (Playstation 2 -- "Released All Spirits" Run -- Completed on June
20th, 2007 by Nicholas "Sir VG" Hoppe

Can you watch this run before the clock strikes midnight?

Speedrun Rules:
* Segmented Run
* Releases all spirits
* Takes damage to save time
* No deaths

WARNING: Clock Tower is rated M for mature content. While most has been cut
out from this speedrun (due to skipping cutscenes), there is still some things
that may upset, startle, or spook you. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Also note that the game is very dark. Please turn up your brightness to enjoy
this video.

Clock Tower 3, despite the name, is the 4th game under the Clock Tower name.
The game is considerably different than its previous counterparts, as it's no
longer a point and click adventure, but is more similar to Capcom's other
survival horror games.

You play a young 14-year old girl named Alyssa Hamilton, who's been sent off to
boarding school by her mom. Just shortly before her 15th birthday, she
receives a letter from her mom to go into hiding. Around this same time, a phone
call comes from her mom, but there is no answer on the other end. Worried, she
returns home to find the place empty, save for a mysterious dark man. Thus her
adventure begins...

Chapter 3

Segment 7
Dear Diary:

Today, Diary, I wandered into a cave. I felt a mysterious foreboding. The
statues seemed a bit creepy. Then I ran out and fought a bad man. He didn't
liked being whipped by a poor little girl and then suddenly he fell over. Did I do
something bad? I'm scared, Diary. What did I do to cause him to fall over
like that?

~ Alyssa

Other Questions

Q5 -- How in the hell did Chopper die? He was calling out an attack and then he
died?!
A -- The most hilarious thing happened in the run. Let me explain what happened
the best I can. First off in the battle, I sealed him several times, then
used my ultra powerful arrow. This didn't kill him. I lined up, fired a binding
arrow to lock him in place. He stepped back further from me, to begin using
his "take this!" attack. This attack means he's throwing both of his axes in a
semi-circle motion to attack me (which is harder to block than his "catch!"
attack. However, he had moved back just enough to be standing next to the pedestal
that I insert the Compass of Light into. When he did his attack, the axe
bounced off of the pedestal, which reflected back towards him and hit him. This
caused his life to drop below 0, causing him to die. How cool was that,
honestly? Note: This is the only boss that can possibly suicide. And I got it to
happen. I rule.

Q6 -- Why do you use your "ultra powerful" arrows so soon? Why not wait until
later?
A -- The game forces you to use it if the boss is properly bound down. I have
no choice. However while I can just not bind them down, I don't because I get
the most bang for my buck this way. Plus since I never have to go through the
sequence more than once anyways, it doesn't really matter.

Will the real Lord_VG please stand up? And would the rest of you sit yo' ass
down, cause I'm the greatest and the latest and the best of the rest. Don't mess
with this punk because I'll kick yo' ass, you sass, you lass. I'm the
greatest runner yo' peace forever.
