Think about history... austria was settled by bavarian tribes. Nowadays the so called "austrian culture" is a mixture between the former austro-hungarian cultures, and thats what makes it so unique.

most austrians and their traditional music are connected to the czech republic slovakia hungary slowenia and northern italy.

the connections to bavaria are low ...
