Thx Korep, I haven't opened the zi8 yet. I guess ill have to invest in a couple of battery's. I also bought the Sony Bloggie for my folks but I don't like the fact its got no motion compensation.Thx for the tip.

The problem with these pocket camcorders is the fact that their built-in motion stabilizer doesn't do anything. If you really want to make your videos much more smoother, you will need to build yourself a "steadicam". I am currently in the process of figuring out how to build one myself! There are a bunch of examples on youtube!

Yea, zi8 is a great camcorder. Too bad the battery kinda sucks.
