Link to the Past 028: Silver Arrow, Golden Sword

We defeat the boss of Misery Mire, a Giant Eye named Vitreous, like the vitreous humor that fills the eyeball. Then we get the Super Bomb at the Bomb Shop and open the crack in the Pyramid. We throw the Bow and Arrow in to receive the Silver Arrows. These are needed to beat Ganon. They are also three times more powerful than the regular Arrows. Next, throw in the Tempered Sword to get the Golden Level 4 Sword. I don't know if you can do the same thing with the Master Sword, I never tried.

For me, I lost the spade, after getting the ocarina...Don't know why or how...

@Poodleinacan The Ocarina replaces the spade in your items. It's only useful for finding the Ocarina anyway, so it really isn't a big loss.

@deamonsead Yeah, there is some kind of trigger related to what treasures you have or what dungeons you've conquered. Usually I get it after I beat the sixth dungeon, but I don't know the precise reason for it being there.

To be honest...it's difficult to obtain every item in the game but it's still an amazing game. :3

Haha That eye boss is so fucken easy to eh. lol He should be in one of the first dark world castles ahaha if you position right you dont even have to move until the big eye starts up lol they all come right at you

I love this gammeee ... i just busted out an emulator specifically for this.. i remember stayin home for 3 days when i was younger to play!! I never knew bout the gold sword tho! I didn't have access to walkthroughs back then lol! As fucken if i beat it without the sword tho! This is gonna be so much easier!
