Swapped out the H-pipe for a X. The exhaust is done until it's time for some LT headers.
Final setup is:
2.25" smooth bent pipes
Magnaflow Hi-flow cats
Magnaflow Magnapacks
Magnaflow Universal X-pipe
Magnaflow 3.5" x 18" rolled tips

  • you should think about gettin some flowmasters, i know you love them!

  • @ndubb1

I had a Flowmaster once already and absolutely hated it. I will never own that garbage ever again on any vehicle I own.

  • After having this setup for over a week, I really like the tone and the overall sound better than the H-pipe, especially in the mid to higher RPM range. No more of that straight-pipe sound when I get on it.

  • Do you like the h or x better now?

  • @Blackcobra281

I honestly like the H better. It's too quiet and smooth now, not nearly aggressive enough.

  • Sounds great

  • how was the mpg affected with the high flow cats?

  • @4point6Punisher lol i wrote that just because i know you hate them

  • Hey man I gotta question for you, I've got a 4.6l 05' f150 and want to "redo" my current super 44 setup. I want a magnaflow setup for better performance, but can't decide between true duals or SI/DO. I think true duals sounds better, but I really don't want to sacrifice tq. Did you run a SI/DO setup prior to your current setup? What are your thoughts and advice? Any would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks and nice truck

  • How much would that setup go for? Really liking what you got, still has some volume at idle, but nothing too much. But when you rev you get that mean growl that us men love.

  • this is the exact sound i want for my truck, can you post a vid of the truck underload at higher RPMs? thanks
