@Doobie1975 You're right too many of these gems as well as ones from the 70's have slipped into obscurity. I spent 15 years as a mobile DJ, and there was this one bar, where every week I would play what I called a "Forgotten Single" and I played this one night, just about everyone said "I haven't heard this in like forever" eventually they wanted me to do an entire night of forgotten gems.

great song, wish it wasn't so obscure and forgotten, it seems to be that the adult contemporary styled pop hits from the early 1980s seem to fallen into obscurity.

radio has been a friend to me way back elementary years... im 32 right now and everytime this song is played... cant help but sing along....its the intro song of one of the dj esp during request hour

I remember hearing this song a lot on the station I was listening to at the time right out of college. It sure did fall into obscurity. I was trying to tell some friends about it and no one I ever talked to had ever heard of it. I'm glad to hear this now so there's proof! Thanks for posting.

I hadn't heard this song since 1980 (!) but for some reason it was in my head, so I thought I'd look it up on youtube. Now I realize why I remembered it -- it's a darn pretty song!
