Every day at 18:00 life on the street stops for a minute to honor the Thai national anthem. It's a bizarre sight in the otherwise noisy and bustling Sunday market in Chiang Mai.

  • This is not directly related question to this clip, but where is this market?

I would like to visit there. I live in BKK.

  • @bnadtwngo1 Hi, that’s in Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand. It’s a bit of a train ride (or Bangkok Air flies there too, not super expensive) but worth spending a few days, take a trip to the surrounding mountains etc.

Thai anthem car law? Really? I've never heard of that before. I'm Thai.

It's year 2011 now, I've still never heard of it.
