His Mom is South African and his Dad lived in Australia for awhile. In fact, Roger's family was very close to moving to Australia when he was a little kid. That is probably why he has kind of a British accent to his English. If he did, Roger would have won a few Davis Cups as well. Can you imagine, Roger and Lleyton Hewitt when they were both at the top of the game on the same Davis Cup team O_o
