The classic Sellar-Tour is with approx. 34.2 miles probably the most famous bicycle ride in the Dolomites.

This has been increased to approx. 55 miles using further fascinating Dolomite passes in the grand Sellar-Tour.

Starting point is the famous ski resort Corvara, which is situated at 5144 ft above sea level.

At first we cycle slightly downhill to Stern / La Villa (4550 ft).

Turning to the right begins the 8.7 miles long perspiration causing climb up to Passo Valparola (7191 ft), which offers magnificent views of the Dolomite World.

We ride through the rock covered stage of the Valparola pass and reach the Falzarego Pass (6906 ft), which is situated slightly deeper.

Turning to the right we then cycle on a winding stretch down to Andraz (4566 ft) and further on the scenic road to Arabba (5019 ft).

Here the 6.8 m long descent to Passo Pordoi (7332 ft) begins.

Enjoying the beautiful view we ride rapidly downhill on the well-built Dolomite road in the direction of Canazei.

After a few miles we turn to the right again and, taking many curves, ride up to the Sellapass (7349 ft).

A marvellous view of the precious Dolomite faces of the Sella- or the Langkofel massif and the Marmolada glacier compensates us for this effort.


After a beautiful descent we turn to the right at the junction Miramonti and cycle in many hairpin bends up to the north slope of the Sella massif.

Riding alongside its precious rock faces we come to the last climb up to the Grödnerjoch (7345 ft).

Having arrived at the top we can again enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding Dolomite peaks and of the starting point and destination Corvara, which is situated at the very bottom.

Additionally, the Passo Campolongo has also been filmed there and back, which extends the tour to about 62.76 miles altogether.
