A real "Maverick"! Michigan doesn't allow him to manipulate us like a lump of clay so instead of coming up with other ideas to better Michigan... he turns tail and runs... So this is the Republican's idea of a true "Maverick"?
No hate, really. I just don't see Palin as capable enough or bright enough to function at the level required of a VP at this time. Also, there's no rage at all, because that's entirely the wrong source for motivation.
McCain has a RECORD to run on, Obama doesn't. The problem with too many Democrats is that they listen to the "specifics" of the plans without bothering to compare the rhetoric to the record.
Obama says that he'd give a tax break to 95% of Americans but he has voted to INCREASE taxes 94 times. To do the same thing again and again and expect a different result is insanity. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me 95 times...
As for specifics, besides that speech in 2002, what has Obama actually DONE?
It's a false optimism, based on "faith" the GOP will do something right for America, as opposed to having certainty that the GOP is capable of fixing things. If you don't believe me, then look at the complete lack of any sort of "bump" after the VP debate. She's simply not convincing American's she appreciates the gravity of the situations that America faces either domestically or abroad.
Now that he's seeking the highest elected office, what does he plan to do, specifically? He's had many months to articulate his details and hasn't done so. Instead, he's resorted to colourful comments and memorable one-liners and also his own fair share of rhetoric. Palin is doing exactly the same thing, as witnessed in the debate. The GOP didn't get a "bump" for Palin's effort either, so now's there's a clear leader in this election race.
McCain called for a troop surge when members of both parties had lost hope in Iraq.
He championed campaign finance reform at a time when many in Washington considered it a dead issue.
He has never requested nor accepted an earmark in over a quarter century in Congress.
Senator McCain attempted to regulate Fan and Fred (S.190 of 2005) when Democrats were that there was "no problem at Freddie Mac and particularly at Fannie Mae under the excellent leadership of Franklin Raines - Maxine Waters

Speaking of "rhetoric", do you realize the 94 you cite includes multiple votes on the SAME bills?

Your slogan seems to be "Hate and Rage", not "Hope and Change".

Let's simply accept ALL this as fact. Full stop.

Did you know that McCain is unable to properly use a computer as a result of injuries he sustained in defense of liberty?
Did you know that Obama's "out of touch" commercial is so misleading that Biden called it "terrible"?
Is this the "new politics". If so, it sounds like the "new math". It just doesn't add up. Give me the old politics any day.
