I grew up with Terry and hung out with him in North Van . From the early yrs. right through him setting his sights on going all the way . We would go over hitchike over to Robson St & Granville where a little hole in the wall Record store was, The shop couldn't have been 20' wide and had all the new 45's on the wall. Met him in '05, he looked just great, could have, should have been a major star on the oldies circuit. Find his lp's/cd's, they feature the top LA session players, and are as good as any pop of the era.
I don't forget this song or Terry.....how could I when I was there to actually see this young guy singing this song. I was surprized that he was a local boy & was lucky enough to see him at Dance Party. It was held once a week at the local telvision station in the middle of nowhere (Burnaby's Lake City Way), it was unpopulated and dark at the time but a circle of us highschool students got tix to go & dance in front of cameras. The special guest was Terry Black who was 15/16 at the time.THX
