The Vein were born in Evora (Portugal) in 1996. Their sound rose out of the ashes of gothic rock and gave it a new breath. Claudio T on the vocals, Susy on the cello, J Cagado on guitars, D. Dinis on the keyboards, Manuel T on the bass and PC on the drums brought The Vein alive. An agressive/melancholic cello floating over the guitars and the low tunes vocals appeal to a dark mix context. "Under The Circumstance" was the first work produced by J Cagado and Claudio T. All its songs made part of several national and international compilations. In the beginning of 1999 The Vein finished the recordings of "Hormony", their last and introspective proposal.

The Vein nasceram em Evora (Portugal) em 1996. Claudio T na voz e guitarra, Susy no violoncelo, J Cagado na guitarra, D Dinis nos teclados, Manuel T no baixo e PC na bateria trouxeram vida à "Veia". Um violoncelo agressivo/melancolico flutuando sobre as guitarras e a voz em tonalidades graves, apelam a um contexto sombrio. "Under The Circumstance" foi o primeiro trabalho produzido por J. Cagado e Claudio T. Todos os temas fizeram parte de várias compilações nacionais e internacionais, levando ainda o grupo ao Coliseu do Porto para a final do festival "Termómetro Unplugged" em 1998.
No Início de 1999, The Vein terminaram as gravações de "Hormony" que viria a ser o seu último trabalho, considerado como revelação na revista "PROMÚSICA".
