Deep sorrow in my heart for these animals

Yes. Sad all around...the animals, the forest, and the people. It is too easy for us to criticise others from the safety of the Internet. Go to Borneo and Indonesia. Meet the people and get the other side of the story. I did. The World is not so simple as you might believe. There are tough decisions to make for all.

said the White Man from the comfort of his easy chair...
Walk a mile in the farmer's shoeless feet before pointing your untrained finger at others.

hallo it's not the Indonesian but the governments of Indonesia and Europe for international financial sake !!! all the products you're buying contain palm oil !!! stop it like i do and i'm indonesian in europe and i hate all of us !!!
It's not about choosing between animals and people...People are NOT more important than animals. We're all equal. If humans are so smart and superior than why can't we stop killing each other? We enslave and abuse other humans for selfish reasons not to mention animals. This planet has only so much space and resources. Humans need to learn to control their numbers as well. ELF ALF EZLN

It should not be a matter of having to relocate a species. The problem is the destruction of one of the most important carbon sinks on the planet for the sake of palm oil. When the West curbs its appetite for biofuels (which many mistakenly believe to be the answer to climate change), then this is a step towards preserving what is left of this magnificent species of Great Ape.
