My Green spotted puffer attacking a Ramshorn snail. It doesn't manage to eat it, but it is a good close up.

  • does this fish jump out the water ???????????? PLEASE ANSWER

  • @boltswagg Not really. I've seen them jump out a bit, but unless they are really stressed out, they won't do it.

  • @smallyellowdevil How long have you had this puffer for it to grow that big? btw lovely puffer, looks really healthy.

  • @MrJaye66 Sadly, it passed away. But I bought it at a pretty good pet store in New York's Chinatown, and it was already this size.

  • hay could i keep one in a 15 gallon brackish tank on its own at its full size and is your fully grown

  • @MrGman0909 Mine was about 3 inches long, I think. I had it in a 10 gallon. Try keeping it in a 15, see if the water quality deteriorates quickly, or if it just seems unhealthy or unhappy before thinking it is too small. I think a full grown in a 10 gallon might be too cramped.

  • @boltswagg mine died.... i almost cried because it was so friendly.. one time i looked at the tank and didn't greet me like it always did.. it jumped out :(

  • @boltswagg while I was transporting my GSP from one tank to another and I scooped him into a cup (I don't like using nets) he actually jumped right out of the cup and back into the tank! it was a tall cup too! I was sure to hold my hand over him next time.

  • "as in the end" haha.. nice!

  • @smallyellowdevil gsp needs to be housed in nothing less than 30 gallons per puffer and also need brackish water to start after they are about a year old they need full marine setup but you have to step up the gravity by no more than .2 points every two weeks in order to live a good healthy life an they also need to be filterd by atleast double for example if you have a 100 gallon tank you should at least have a filter that does about 400 gallons an hour

  • @smallyellowdevil No wonder your fish died. They need 30 gallons per fish, they're really messy.
