  • Yes, Medieval Music is very Cool. I love this

  • Isn't early music cool? I sing countertenor. Voice mj instrument, graduate work in early music performance practice. It's nice to hear this recording, subtle changes in prolation. We think today's music is complicated, with only 2 scales (Mj. mn). Back then they had at least 16, rhythmes were complex. A typical motet was 3 singers, each with different melodies, different words, at the same time & beautiful music came forth--brought us out of the dark ages & into reason & beauty.
