Modeling Blog Daily - Lego & K'nex Gears!!!

This is my Modeling Blog Daily - 06/14/08 - Lego & K'nex Gears!!! I show a LARGE Technic model that got me interested in GEARS. I also show a STROBE I built and then a K'nex Gear Accelerator which I demonstrate. I finish up with musings of expanding my K'NEX PSYCHEDELIC THING even more!!!

i have the crane truck 2...only i Removed much parts for other lego inventions like lego rubber band guns and oil derricks and like your drawbridge idea i made 1 too.

i also made a table-tennis balldecorater :)..

i really really like your creations...i actually built some of your ideas..

but anyway.. this is a very handy set it contains lots of gears and air pressure pump and all that kind...its super!

Do you have any lubrication in that mechanical setup? Might be an idea, you'd be getting lots of friction at that sort of speed.

if you ran that machine the other way around, you would have like a 1 hour vid for it to rotate one time lol.

The gear box really intrigued me. I have a similar idea. I'd like to see someone make a pedal machine connected to a generator...that uses a similar speed gearing system as you use for your model.
