Review of the 1978 Formula 1 World Championship. In 1978 Colin Chapman made a Formula 1 car that would change Formula 1 forever. He created the Lotus 79. The car was build on the ground effect foundations that were laid by the Lotus 78. But the Lotus 79 proved to be the ultimate ground effect car in 1978. Mario Andretti became World Champion in the Lotus 79. Enjoy!!!

  • It looks so much more cool than it does today. Todays cars are ugly and I cannot care much about todays dull drivers.

  • Great driving on brilliant tracks.

  • millions of years?...

  • The Brabham was a fantastic looking car, Gordon Murray was brilliant ,they stuck it up Chapman with a better idea.
