I cannot figure why they runied the Steve Andropolus character. He was the show's central character then he turned into a loser and Craig became the hero.

@jvarela965 Without him Betsy was adrift and eventually the youngest Stewarts were reduced to just Emily. But there was definitely room for Craig & Steve to be rivals for years like Kim & Susan or Bob & John.

OMG I remember all these characters...and, yes, Craig's mom was the original Cougar on ATWT because of her way younger lover, Casey....I love it...Ooo I hope soap nets picks it up and shows it over again...i would to see it again from the beginning or as far back as I can remember lol

@Oakdalian I imagine Frank Runyon must have had a falling out with the show's producers. Usually when something like this happens that is the reason. Case in point Genie Francis.

Watching this just points out how much of a travesty it was that they did not ask Martha Byrne back to finish out LIly's time on the show... I give Noelle Beck so much credit for offering to step down but it's a shame Martha was not there when Lily and Holden talked about the day they met and Jon Hensley started sobbing. Lily and Holden were my favorite couple on the show and next to Luke were the ones I was the most invested in.

The Finale aired today. God I wish Martha had been there. It was so sad to see Holden w/that new Lily :( They'll never be another storyline like this one. What happened to all the good writers?

wow, i rememeber this sooooooooooooo well! Was mucho impressed with martha, she really pulled me into this series. Was hooked from this time on. Loved margo, and Lucinda, and CRAIG AND Sierra. And Caseyyyyyyyyyyyy! God, ATWT was sooo good back then!
