what is the best way to have your dwarfs set up eg miner, wood cutter ect

@zoroisking All you really need to start out is a miner, wood cutter and someone who can make food. If you can get walls + food / water setup then you'll have all the time in the world to train other skills.

@PlumpHelmetPunk thankfully cptnduck's vids are still up, he lost his job recently and the uploads have completely stopped, hopefully he's doing ok. if something is wrong though, you, jef and grimith, or who ever else decides to help, should try to have a charity livestream to try to help him out. hell 1/2 the bay12 forums would probably donate since he's brought so many people into the DF and rogue like genre.

Do you take really long breaks, or are you just really efficient? I notice your stone clearing prowess far surpasses mine, and I'm still mostly clearing out soil. Your dwarves cut through mountains like butter.
