M.I.A is so ridiculously awesome it's not even funny! It's SO cool how she does stuff like this (eg. hears about some Indigenous kids rapping here in Oz and thinks nothing of getting on a plane to sing with them) and how she's also an artist- oooooh cool overload!

The boys are the Wilcannia mob, from out on the Darling river. The bream they are talking about would be probably silver perch or maybe yellowbelly. It was Morganics that 'discovered' these kids in workshops ran in outback Oz back around 10 years ago. The song Down River is on Triple J's hottest 100 from 2002.
