MCR RANT ON FAN GIRLS AND MORE - PART ONE [read only] - (My Chemical Romance)

This is my rant on My Chemical Romance fan girls. You'll have to read it here in the description, like an article, on youtube.

The Fan Girls -

I have a feeling like a bunch of little girls who also happen to like The Jonas Bros and Miley Cyrus started liking

MCR once the black parade came out. sorry for my lack of capitalization, screw that right now. I guess it doesn't

matter what else they like, but what does matter to a certain degree is that most of these girls don't care about the

music as much as they care about the dudes in the band. Every MCR video is bound to have "OMG mikey, OMG

gerard looks so hawwtt" comments. If you think they're hot that's okay. But I get the feeling that these fan girls are

obsessed, and in high numbers. Take a look at the girl who supposedly killed herself cause she liked this band.

Remember that daily mail? Yeah parents, the Daily Mail (or whatever) thinks your kids are dumb enough to kill

themselves over a band.

I doubt that though. that girl must've had problems which her parents were responsible for. And here you have the

daily mail blaming MCR. Which leads to my next section.

MCR Promotes self harm

Whatever parents say MCR promotes, I don't care. There are other bands (heavy metal) who talk about killing your

lover. (Bullet For My Valentine) I think music is like a movie, it's words and music that tell a story. My Chemical

Romance are entitled to write whatever the fuck they want under the first amendment, and they never started off as a

children's band so you can't blame them for "turning around". Suddenly they make the black parade, and these little

girls come swarming to the group. How is that the band's fault? that they suddenly got a young aged fan base? It's

not. It's like a porno that somehow attracts kids to it, and then suddenly the porn makers are a bad influence on

these kids. No, because the kids shouldn't have been around this content if it was supposedly, "so bad" to begin

with. Makes sence?

Yes, MCR might not have the most kid-friendly lyrics, but fuck that. why do you want them to?

MCR Saved My Life

Okay, that's the band's motto. somehow people started taking it literal and now they believe MCR truly saved their

lives. For one, music helps. But it could've been any band that helped you with their music. I have a slew of bands I

love, and they all have great songs. I don't really have a favorite band in particular. Now that that is said, I think

these kids who say "MCR saved my life" are full of shit. How fucking pathetic. So... if it wasn't for MCR's music, you

would've killed yourself? you fucking emo little girl, first off, you have no problems. you just fake them.

Second, when I feel like shit music isn't gonna solve anything. Yeah, it helps... but not just MCR. I have an iTunes

with like 100 plus bands. I can say right now that at least 20 of these bands hold my favorite songs ever. Not just

MCR. so by saying MCR saved my life, you should be saying "music saved my life". But it really doesn't save your

life. If it did, then getting the cell phone you really wanted also saved your life. This can go on and on about

everything you like in life. so it's pointless to argue that MCR really saved your life.

When you have problems, music won't take them away. You can get lost in the music and rock out to MCR cause you

love that shit, but at the end of the day your problems are still there. There's a video somewhere on youtube where

someone's videotaping the daily mail riot and there is this girl saying something like (if I remember correctly) "I

lost someone I loved... blah blah blah, you don't understand, these guys saved my life with their music... blah"...

Well, I lost someone too. At times like those musis doesn't take the pain away of not having that person there,

especially if you both listened to the same bands. It only brings memories back. I guess what I'm trying to say is

that we all suck it up. They did not save your life so stop pretending they did just to fit in with the other slew of

emos who say the same thing. The only way they could've saved your life is if you really didn't have problems, just

pretended to, and your life is full of drama, and you're too obsessed to care about anything else, or even any other
band.

every person has a favourite which is most likely Gee but what do you honestly expect? and just because mcr save lifes doesnt mean something extremely terrible. my chem saved my life when i was 11 because my brother had cancer and no one really wanted me around, they save lifes by keeping us sane.

I agree and most fangirls target one member, im totally crazy about Gerard but i love Frank, Mikey and Ray and some girls are just stupid cunts, thy go to MSI shows just to see Gerard at the side, i went to an MSI show and Gerard was there, he waved at me and my friend and it was amazing but i went there to see MSI ;)

I agree, although we should help welcome all mew fans, people who like just for fashion or looks are weird, I prefer the music, have done for about 9 years now! Also, just knowing there are people out there, such as the members of My Chemical Romance, actually have an understanding of what it is like to be in such a dark place is what helps people. Just knowing that is what gets them through.

Seriously get the fuck over it. You cannot make snap judgements that people aren't being honest when they say MCR saved my life. They saved mine, and I am not an emo little shit. I think that some of the people that say 'MCR saved my life' are being completely honest.. I also think that you have no right to go off saying that they have no problems and are whiny little emo girls who are just trying to fit in.

That is complete bullshit. I was severely depressed earlier this year, and I honestly think that I wouldn't have made it had I not had MCR or their music. Don't stereotype or categorize, because not every fan is some fucking little girl fawning over their looks.

yay~! I don't fit in your rant! I hated Miley Cyrus and the Jonas bros from the time they started, for the first 4 years that I listened to MCR, I couldn't even tell you their names! And MCR did save my life. I was suicidal and I almost killed myself several times, but then I heard about their story and looked into them even more. I listened to their music for years without it affecting me. Not all MCR fans are girly idiots with half a brain.

But I will say this, to me, it is about the music, but if a guy is good looking you're gonna appreciate it. Their good looks are an added bonus in my opinion. xD
