Clip from ethnographic film by Jorge Prelorán documents celebrations in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary, patroness of Iruya, a remote village in the Zenta Mountains, Salta Province, Argentina. The celebrations include performances in pantomime and ritual dances which are reminiscent of the Autos Sacramentales of the 17th and 18th centuries in Spain. Filmed in 1966. This film was recently preserved to film.
