burnout paradise: cruising over the highway

does anybody notice the sound of shifting gears..the whole time?
i didn't brake once.

played on 1680x1050 8xAA most settings to high, motion blur off and some other feature i forgot disabled.

setup:
winxp 32bit sp3
q6600@2.4 ghz (stock clock)
4 x 1gb ddr2-800 ocz titanium 4-4-4-15 1t ram
asus p5b deluxe
xfx 9600 GT alpha dog edition
creative x-fi xtreme gamer soundcard
etc..
result: constant fps of 60, unless u crash into something (back to 47~)
fraps reduced it to 21-55fps, thats why the video is jaggering a bit
