We're told that the economy is improving. But even if the unemployment rate dips by a tenth of a percentage point or two, the signs of lingering recession are all around us, even in areas where the jobs picture isn't nearly as bad as the national average...

  • Someone who lost their $50,000 a year full time job and is now working part time for $10 an hour is NOT employed. Thats what is backed into the official government UE numbers. The ONLY true measure of UE is the U6 which is the calculation up until Clinton who decided to change it to make things look better. U6 IS 16-17%,

    Record debt, record foreclosures, record unemployment, jobless recovery, and you think we are in a recovery? GM did not pay off its loan from earnings (because its still a loser), it paid off its loan early because it borrowed more stimulus money. Not to mention that 1/3 of the recent employment boost numbers were from Census workers, lol. Not to belittle you, but do NOT listen to mass American Media.

  • This was one informative video. It's a very decent example of what one person can do. One camera. One computer. One citizen. This is fine no frills journalism
