  • Not if part of the goal is to help teens who are already mothers.

  • Would you not agree that it would be better to see what areas has high teen pregnancy instead of just high teen births?

  • You're squabbling over a term as if it has any bearing on the issue.

Actually if you watch the video she was looking for an area with a high teen birth rate, whereupon they set up a program to help those young mothers, and their families. Then they proceeded to help educate the local population as they were shown to be at risk statistically.

  • I did watch the video. Why doesn't she say teen pregnancy like most other people?

  • Watch the video, that's exactly what it's about.

She used the term 'teen births' but regardless the video delivers exactly what you asked for.

  • She only talks about addressing the problem of teen births. Teen pregnancy is what they should be addressing. They need to focus on helping teens make good decisions.

  • Did you even watch the video? She's talking about providing people with health care and education. Maybe some people forget to consider the life of the born.

She doesn't even once so much as mention abortion. Sounds like you've got an axe to grind.

  • So is the goal reducing teen pregnancy or teen births? It sounds like all this lady talked about was reducing teen BIRTHS...you know abortion does that. We forget to consider the life of preborn children if we only care about reducing BIRTHS.
