@AdderSIG The colour isn't necessarily flavoured though. It only takes on a flavour when you see it. if you're blindfolded you won't be able to tell the difference. Take a banana for instance: it can be golden yellow and you know it will taste delicious but as soon as it starts to turn brown and splotchy, visually, you'll be less inclined to eat it. Same banana, same taste and texture (it hasn't gotten any softer, it's a banana), but the colour may just put you off. But if you can't see it: yum!

Experiments have shown that the way the parent behaves affects the child's behavior; this sounds like placebo to me - I'm not immune either, I picked up on the "aspartame is evil" thing and from not being affected I started to get headaches, numbness and other stuff, yet I've consumed it recently with no ill effects.

his voice is so annoying

@nessymonster Yes, but we don't consume things blindfolded. So colourings have a purpose. Claiming they "[do not] affect the flavour in any way, shape, or form" is incorrect.
-
@AdderSIG Yes, but a blindfold test would show that there is no difference
-
@nessymonster Yes. You perceive taste. If it did not have the stronger colour you would taste it less. The same way if you removed sugar, the fruit flavour would be just as strong but would taste weaker.

@AdderSIG "Perceived."
