It's been 9 months but I'm back in business. Here's a quick tutorial on some techniques I use to create pads and atmosphere in my tracks.

  • Hey, wouldn't mind knowing what VST you used for the Vox, waldorf largo maybe? something with wavetables yeah?

  • @tekkentool Aw dang! I didn't see this comment come in. If you're still wondering (4 months later) I'm pretty sure I used Massive to create the pad/vocal synth.

  • Thank you so much for sharing! What an awesome atmosphere. You make really awesome music too for sure!:D Btw. Listening to this tutorial with headphones is wierd. Sounds like your voice is .. out of phase on one side or something:P

Where can i find the track in the outro btw?

  • @konsept13372 haha yeah I know next to nothing about recording or setting up screencast software. I've tried to get a good setup going but in the end I gave up. I think on one of those videos I was actually using my studio headphones as a mic because I didn't have one hahaha. You can find the outro track on "The Gateway EP" that was released (FREE) through the IDMf Netlabel.

  • man these are really awesome tutorial videos youve got! glad you decided to make them, I'm really loving your music as well! Out of curiousity, do you play any instruments?

  • @blooandwhite I've got some CDs burnt and backups on a hard drive or two. I honestly don't think anyone's ever heard this stuff other than friends and family. If you're seriously interested I can host it for you and send you a link. Just send me an email to Anodyne.One@gmail.com and I'll hook you up.

  • @AnodyneIndustries Hey dude, I have heard your stuff in IDMF and it's bad ass... and I am from India (Asia) I have your album on my PSP and I listen to it everyday :D

  • @AnodyneIndustries excellent! sorry for all the questions, but is there any chance youve got that video game stuff uploaded anywhere? id love to hear it

  • @blooandwhite @blooandwhite Hmmm I've been producing electronic music since 1998-1999. I wrote a lot of video game soundtrack type stuff. I didn't start writing this Anodyne Industries type of heavy bass/breaks until the beginning of 2009.

  • @AnodyneIndustries right on! Mind if i ask how long youve been working with music/music software for? from a drummers POV your stuff feels really natural and musical :)
