Man what the hell? You guys are seriously wrong about all this. Dante wasn't even trying to beat you in DMC4. What the hell? They should have gave him Devil Trigger! Give him his frickin Beowulf instead of lame Gilgamesh, gave him that damn guitar thing and give him faster reflexes. What ARE you talking about? I mean at least as much as Vergil tried beating him at DMC3. The only bosses I ever loved fighting WERE DANTE or VERGIL.

indeed... there is only as many close combat weapons humans can think along with combos for them.

Scythe? Sparda... check

Swords? all kind of... check

dual swords? agni and rudra... check

punching gloves? 3 of a kind... check

Guns? pretty much all covered except maybe an UZI or M16 shaped weapon, still they would pretty much function like dual guns so... pretty much check as well.

How bout a spear then? or nunchaku? or tonfas? or chinese sabre sword?

@DzoGavert I wasn't really trying to make a point about anything im just a brooding old DMC1 fanboy who doesn't think it gets the attention and admiration it deserves since 3 came out lol. So I tend to jump on people when they act like Beowolf was an original idea or that Yamato was always and just Vergil's and that his Amulet was gold when originally they were both silver. Why they changed it I will never understand, when they were both silver them both being 2 halves of a whole looked better.

@XxKirstinxScottxX I would love to see some kind of spinoff where they bring everyone in young Dante, Old Dante, Vergil, Nero, Lucia, Nelo Angelo, Trish and Lady. All of them playable and unique :D
