A song written by Dundee musician Michael Marra, but popularised by Hue and Cry who have performed it at their live gigs for many years. Here it was recorded for a TV programme "One Singer, One Song", originally broadcast 7 May 1990.

  • A vastly underated pair of brothers.......extremely talented boys.....

  • The best song from them

  • Why do all songs about Scotland descend into arguments? Just be happy with whatever ethnicity/background/nationality you feel you belong to and let others do the same.

  • @cunningsophie Not many people do, unfortunately. Hue and Cry didn`t credit him on the record.

  • I so love hue and cry! Glasgow is the best! xx

  • I come from London, so (according to talk) I should hate Scottish people (I don't know why - it's stupid and a small minority). I love you all, and Pat and Greg are the best ambassadors of Glasgow.

One of the best bands ever in the UK. I love the fact that Greg and Pat are Scottish, not British, they are proud of their decendancy.

    Jim

  • Pat has a phenominal voice, so proud to be a fan of theirs.....
