No Jesus would never bomb anyone, but don't tell that to the nutty evangelicals in America who thoroughly abuse Jesus name in their righteous hatred of the outsider. Jesus himself seems like a decent guy.

While I don't consider myself a Christian, I wouldn't take the scripture literally. The biblical Jesus of Nazareth often spoke in parables and allegories, so considering he preached love and compassion for the poor, the sick, the imprisoned, etc., he was referring to the opposition you'd face by the world by following him. And let's face it, if you show love to people... The world turns it back on you.

the other day i was at the sight of a hate attack, someone had thrown a bomb through the window of this guys house, and the house burned down, leaving an ugly black hole, anyway i went past there the other day, and it was all grown over with flowers and grass, and i thought of this song
