Gel isnt good for locs especially black gel.

i didnt go to a professional salon to start mine cuz i just didnt have the cash for all that. I had one of my bf's friends start them for me. They obviously havent locked yet, its only been two weeks. To keep them looking decent, ive been using a little black gel to continue twisting them and then to stop the itch i use doo grow anti itch growth oil. The person who started them told me to not wash my hair for 1 month. I dont regret doing them and can't wait to see the growth and the results.

@Keeeenaa15 OK, Thank you. I'm still learning as I go along with this process. My loctitian told me my hair would grow faster and stronger with diamond parts.My hair grows really fast. It'll be 2yrs in March, so I'll post an update
