As the Cuban Missile Crisis continues, Fidel Castro is furious as U.S. planes fly tree-top-level reconnaissance missions, coming in low over missile sites and snapping photos. Captain Jerry Coffee, a U.S. Navy pilot during the Crisis, describes flying these missions. The next day, U.S. Ambassador Adlai Stevenson makes a presentation to the U.N., confronting the ambassador from the Soviet Union with the photos of the Cuban missile sites and revealing the evidence to the rest of the world.
